Stunting is a condition of toddlers who have a shorter body than toddlers their age which is caused by chronic malnutrition. Stunting is one of the nutritional problems experienced by children under five in the world today with a prevalence of 22.2%. The impact of stunting in children under five is an increase in the level of morbidity and mortality, susceptibility to disease, and degenerative diseaseproblems in adulthood, and it can affect the level of intellectuality and cognitive abilities in toddlers. Parenting style is one of the indirect factors that play a role in the incidence of stunting, the low parenting style of parents can increase the risk of children under five experiencing stunting. The parenting style includes feeding practices, parenting practices, and utilization of health services. The aim of this research is toexamine and analyze the description of parenting styles for children under five years of age with stunting in Kalisat. A descriptive observational study with a cross-sectional approach using purpossive sampling. The description of parenting style for stunting toddlers as seen from feeding practices and parenting practices shows poor parenting styles, while health service utilization shows good parenting styles. The incidence of stunting in children under five in the Glagahwero and Ajung Village of Kalisat can occur because the parenting style in feeding practices and parentingpractices is included in bad criteria even though the utilization of health services is included in good criteria.
